Techbrite Case History


An Ohio based tool & machine company hired TechBrite to Audit, design and provide new energy efficient lighting technology that would enable them to reduce energy and improve lighting. The components that they are machining have an average value of $90,000 each. The final quality control procedures in this plant are also critical as the components are used on military aircrafts. They were using 458 watt metal halides mounted at 22’. Average foot-candles were 10-20. TechBrite installed 8’ T-5 4 lamp & 6 lamp fixtures that reduced their energy consumption by 55% and improved foot-candles up to an average of 40fc. Below is a picture of the existing 458 watt metal halides and to the right are the 220 watt TechBrite T-5 fixtures.
